The best Knishes in Manhattan

Every time we think back to those knishes we feel like eating...

Made famous by their culinary talent and by numerous celebrities from the world of movies (Woody Allen with Whatever Works and Kubrick with Eyes wide shot are just examples) the Yonah Schimmel's Knishes Bakery really offers the delights of Jewish origin. 

Economically speaking, it isn't very cheap, but for $ 3.50 you'll get a wonderful gastronomical experience. The basis of this advice is still a monetary evaluation: it's better to invest those precious $ 3,50 in a Schimmel knish than in any chemical Starbucks' drink.

It's possible to eat knishes at the table or take it away, but if you have time you'd better to taste it in the between those walls.

Non siamo i primi a scriverlo, ma ogni volta che ripensiamo a quei knishes ci rendiamo conto che non possiamo non farlo. Resa famosa dal proprio talento culinario e da numerosi personaggi del mondo del cinema (Woody Allen non ha potuto non girarvi una scena di Whatever Works, e Kubrick ha casualmente scelto il set nella porta accanto a loro...), la Yonah Schimmel's Knishes Bakery offre realmente delle delizie del palato di origine ebraica. Economicamente parlando non è molto low cost, tuttavia per 3,50$ si ha la possibilità di fare una vera esperienza degustativa. Alla base di questo consiglio c'è comunque una valutazione monetaria: quei preziosissimi tre dollari è meglio investirli in un knish degli Schimmel piuttosto che in un qualsiasi prodotto chimico di Starbuck's. E' possibile consumare al tavolo o portarlo via, tuttavia se si ha tempo degustarlo in mezzo a quelle mura semplici aggiunge un quid al tutto. Ancora a gestione famigliare, se non capitate nelle ore di punta, è probabile che troverete la signora a servire, mentre il marito fa quadrare i conti al tavolino in fondo alla sala (sei tavoli totali), immerso nelle ricevute, con la fedele calcolatrice alla mano.
